Global Health Partnerships
We believe that global health partnerships are the best way to bring about positive, supportive and sustainable changes in healthcare globally. Our partnership programmes are based on long term commitment by all collaborators, we all work closely together to share our knowledge, strengthen training and ultimately improve patient care both overseas and at home within the NHS.
We support global health projects with partners in Botswana, El Salvador and Myanmar. We are also collaborating with the Cambridge Africa Programme, Cambridge University on a programme to improve maternal health outcomes at Mulago Hospital, Uganda.
UK Government support NHS staff to engage in global health and our work has been endorsed by the UK Department of Health, the Department for International Development and the UK All-Party Parliamentary Group on Global Health.
