El Salvador
Dr Hannah Missfelder-Lobos has visited El Salvador on several occasions to promote the possibility of joint clinical projects between Addenbrooke's Hospital, the University of Cambridge Clinical School and the following organisations in El Salvador:
- Hospital Nacional De Maternidad 'Dr Ral Argello Escoln'
- Hospital Materno Infantil Primero de Mayo
- Instituto Salvadoreo Del Seguro Social
- Universidad De El Salvador
Addenbrooke's Abroad has begun working with Dr Missfelder-Lobos, Dr Christoph Lees and other staff in Addenbrooke's to develop a suitable programme of joint activities between El Salvador and ourselves. It is hoped these will include staff exchange visits and video conference linkage to facilitate clinical case discussions.
Dr Missfelder-Lobos has provided the Maternity Hospital in El Salvador with a draft Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for their consideration.
Visits
In December Dr Hannah Missfelder-Lobos ran a successful Fetal Medicine Course in El Salvador. Course Lecturers:
