Cheryl Sayers fundraising for Addenbrooke's

Tireless ACT fundraiser, Cheryl Sayers, tackled a gruelling Moroccan trek in June to support breast cancer patients at Addenbrooke's.

Cheryl, also known as 'Wonder Woman', who has undertaken a number of amazing fundraising adventures in recent years to raise money for Addenbrooke's, led a team of eleven on a trek of Toubkal national park and mountain in Morocco.

Despite Cheryl's many years of experience the trek proved challenging but was successfully completed by Cheryl and her 11-strong team, who were delighted to reach the summit!.

Donations are still gratefully received for Cheryl's amazing fundraising efforts in aid of a vital Specimen X-Ray machine, which tests removed tissue during surgery to help treat one more woman a day with breast cancer.

Cheryl says: "Once a year I like to do something crazy to help me realise how hard it is to push yourself through barriers. Healthy people have that option, sick people don't."
