Karting 2008

Annual Corporate Karting Challenge 2009

Driving a kart in this event may not get you the F1 drive it achieved for Lewis Hamilton when he was karting, but don’t miss this full-on adrenalin rush experience!! The 90-minute endurance race is not for the faint-hearted but eight teams took part last year and it was a thrilling time for all, right to the chequered flag.

Each team member races for a 5-minute interval, jumping kart and handing over to a team colleague is a skill in itself. The race lasts a full hour and a half, with no break.
Racing against other Cambridgeshire businesses teams, the competition can become quite spirited – but always friendly !   Price Bailey were the proud winners of the 2008 Challenge (pictured right).

Held at the TeamSport Indoor Karting centre, at Caxton, the 350 metre track provides plenty of bends but also space for overtaking. The hospitality area is centrally located on the track, giving spectators full view of the race. A light buffet will be provided for all who attend and friends are more than welcome to come along.

Date: Thursday 26 February 2009
Time: 6.30pm
Location: Caxton Karting Centre
Entry by team (5-7 drivers): £400 per team
