Raising money for the Neurosciences Critical Care Unit (NCCU)

Keiranne and Kerrie raised £1487.90 for the unit.

At the beginning of January, Gordon MacInnes (Kerrie’s Dad / Keiranne’s brother) suffered from a cerebral haemorrhage with major complications and was admitted to the Neurosciences Critical Care Unit (NCCU). Initially he had two surgical procedures after which he was looked after 24/7 by a friendly and dedicated NCCU team.

Despite Gordon’s best efforts to get awarded a medal for being the worst patient by falsely setting off all of his life support alarms, the team never faulted with their care.

Because of the professional nature of the staff and the care that Gordon is receiving, we would like to repay their efforts by raising money for the Unit by partaking in tandem skydives on the 24th May 2008 in Chatteris.

The team in the NCCU are truly inspirational and we are forever indebted to them and our hope is that by doing this and through raising money, we can show our gratitude.
