Christine Berry joins ACT as trustee

6 January 2010

ACT is pleased to announce the appointment of Christine Berry, a partner in Cambridge law firm, Taylor Vinters, as a trustee of the charity. Christine replaces Simon Anderson, trustee since 2002, who did not seek reappointment in order to concentrate on other interests.

Christine Berry served as Taylor Vinters' managing partner for 10 years, and now specialises in advising charities and not for profit organisations. She brings both legal and business expertise to her new role as a trustee of ACT. Christine has been a member of the CBI regional council in the East of England and she is also trustee of an arts charity based in London.

Keith Day, Chief Executive of ACT said: “I am delighted to welcome Christine Berry to the Trustees of Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust. Christine’s extensive experience in, and enthusiasm for, the non-profit sector will undoubtedly be beneficial to the charity and help us continue as one of the foremost NHS charities in the country.”

Christine said: “I am much looking forward to contributing to the work of ACT, especially given exciting plans to develop its fundraising programme in the next decade.”
