Pink Rose Dinner 2008

This huge appeal, involving more than a hundred hosts and many hundreds of guests each year, is a highly sociable and enjoyable dining celebration, and also a remarkably successful fundraiser. In the past four years we have raised a total of £250,000 for the Cambridge Breast Unit at Addenbrooke's.

The appeal is officially launched in October to coincide with Breast Cancer Awareness Month, but you can hold your Pink Rose Dinner at any time during the year. It doesn't matter where you live, money raised will help achieve progress in understanding and treating this terrible disease.

And it doesn't have to be a sit down dinner!

Choose what would suit you and your friends best such as:

  • lunch
  • tea party
  • coffee morning
  • drinks

Just ask for your guests to make a donation to this very important cause and help raise money for Breast Cancer while having fun at the same time!

If you do choose to host a dinner, here's our top tips for a successful supper!

Additional ideas

Hold a raffle or a quiz, use pink food / drink, wear pink clothing, use pink tableware and decorations.
