Working for ACT

Trustees

The opportunities
ACT's trustees are looking for two suitably experienced and knowledgeable individuals to join their numbers. As well as expertise, they are looking for people who will share their passion for the charity’s mission.

Skills and experience sought
For the first vacancy, ACT’s trustees would be especially interested to hear from people who have extensive and senior level professional finance experience. They should hold a full professional qualification with a CCAB body and senior significant post-qualification experience of financial management, gained in any sector.

The second trustee should ideally offer expertise in any area relevant to the charity’s work, and this might include one or more of the following:

  • Education and training of the healthcare workforce, including post-registration education
  • Innovation in health-related businesses e.g. medical devices and life sciences
  • Marketing and communications
  • Fundraising and supporter care
