Make a donation online

A regular or single donation can make a difference for patients throughout the hospitals by helping provide additional state-of-the-art equipment, refurbishments, specialist staff and research over above that which NHS funding can provide.

How we manage your money

Give a regular gift

To become a Friend of Addenbrooke's and receive news about the impact of your regular support, as well as invitations to join us at informative and social events throughout the year, please click here.

Regular giving can help provide for patients' urgent and greatest needs at the hospitals wherever and whenever they arise. For example:

  • £5 a month could help make wards more dementia-friendly
  • £10 a month could help purchase a portable ultrasound machine for locating hidden breast cancers
  • £20 a month could help fund a specialist calorimetry machine to ensure vulnerable babies receive appropriate levels of nutrition
  • £250 a year could help develop new tests to detect prostate and bladder cancers in DNA fragments

Alternatively, you may like to make a regular donation to support a ward, clinic or area of research which is close to your heart.

Give a single gift

A donation made to ACT could help patients in numerous ways. For example:

  • £40 could buy a personal listening device for patients with hearing loss
  • £100 could buy 20 information packs for patients with breast cancer diagnoses
  • £250 could fund eight bereavement counselling sessions for a young person
