Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust (ACT) is delighted to be holding our annual John Addenbrooke Lecture on Thursday 24 February 2022, from 7pm to 8pm.

This year our focus will be on our current campaign to buy Addenbrooke’s a new surgical robot.

You will hear from leading Addenbrooke’s surgeons Professor Grant Stewart and Mr Siong-Seng Liau, who will share their experiences of the benefits of robotic surgery and how it could transform care for thousands of patients.

Dr Ashley Shaw, Medical Director at Cambridge University Hospitals, will share his expert perspective on how innovation, such as robotic surgery, will help our much-loved hospital recover from the challenging period of the last two years.
